Moses’s Generosity Story

Hi, Am Moses’ birthday is on 24 December. Here’s his story:

I usually celebrate my birthday like most people: have some fun, eat something special, etc. Last year’s birthday, however, was different. My life changed. I felt a prompting in my Spirit to give to the physically challenge in my city. They go from door to door to beg for meals each day. I wondered what would Christmas be like for them. The thoughts kept coming to my mind. I believe the Lord touched my heart for these people. The problem was, I didn’t know how to get money for this cause, but the Lord provided $700 for my wife and I to be able to give funds to 62 physically challenged people. Some of the people we helped were blind, others were deaf or couldn’t walk. We were able to distribute clothes and food that some of our Christian friends donated. Finally, and most importantly, we were able to share the gospel with them! Our hope is to continue this tradition every year. This December we are hoping to bless 100 physically challenged people in Kenema. Our long-term plan is to get them wheel chairs, provide school for the blind, and provide for them on a monthly basis to take them off from the street.
